Well i have a busy month ahead of this October. Not only do i start gearing up for, the dreaded “C WORD”. No, not that C word, i mean Christmas. First i have the annual AITS trade show, this is the highlight of the tobacco trades year. All the suppliers and manufactures are there to display their wares. I know of a few things coming out, they are as follows.
7 Seas Cherry
I also know H&F plan to launch some more of the 2011 Cuban cigars, not sure which one yet but i will be posting you a post of all new news.
Then later on in the month, i am going to St Claude to visit Pierre Morel. Pierre is the last independent pipe maker in saint Claude.
In 1978, Pierre Morel, an independent free-hand pipe maker, was enlisted by Chacom to create a line of completely hand made pipes, called the Chacom Grand Cru. For this line he created the free-hand shapes Naja and “Fleur de Bruyère”. Pierre works now in his own shop. The new line is the result of over 40 years experience in free-hand high-grade pipe carving. His new High-grade line will be available on his new webshop. Taken from Pipedia.org
I will be blogging and shooting video while over there, i am hoping to pick up a few pipes from there.
