Partagas – Lucitania (08)

Filed under Cigar Reviews, Videos {no comments}

After a busy busy year which i must say has been a cracker, things went right and over all i cant remember much which went wrong. So i had to end the year on a high. Vintage port from 1983 (same age as me), 2008 Partagas Lucitainia and good company.

Big thanks again to Greg for the cigar, it wasnt what i expected. The first third was hell, the draw was awful, took 3 draws to get one mouth full of smoke. The flavours why beings light, sweet & creamy wasn’t the butterscotch i had expected. As it got going the burn corrected it self, smoked a lot better and became an interesting  but extremely light (for a Partagas).

Enjoyable but i wish i had gone for something stronger and bolder, still didnt make it any less a great complex smoke.
