This was something that i wanted when creating the template for this software post type. I wanted some nice button with icons for links to github or packagist etc, so I made this. Its not packed as a plugin, rater more old school in a early 00’s, hotscripts style.

Installation
Head over to the gist and grab the 2 files.
Feel free to add them to your theme or plugin as you wish, just change the location/url of the JS file
Usage
You can use the SVG variation of a button by selecting it in the inspector panel.

You can then either choose from a pre determined svg (you can edit the JS file to change these), or paste in some custom SVG markup
You can set the positioning of the icon and label and also hide the label
You can set the size of the icon
You can even override the fill colour if you need

This is not perfect, its hacky but it does the job. The Gist button above is using this
