Long Drive Progress

I was initially posting all my 100km journeys as single posts, but this is not really that interesting, so here I will just add my updates.

🛣️ 4600 – 5030 km (19th March 2026)

The last run was done in a few days, once i had enough fuel in the back, it was a case of getting going. We had an issue finding sponges of all things for a over a 100km, this explains the bloody wheel!

I saw a lot of buses on the last run, i was tempted to switch over but thankfully i didnt as the steep hills coming (and going down) would have been tricky in a bendy bus.

Now I knew in advance how this game ends, so i was not exactly shocked to see how it just ends, but

And yes that is me trying to start the engine but failing due to no fuel. I didnt even notice this as (while you cant see it, this is downhill) was fully costing (at over 120). I did have about 80l of Diesel in drums, but didnt need it in the end.

🛣️ 4200 – 4500 km (8th March 2026)

Now 90% of the way there, and passed the 4444.4km milestone, remembered to capture it this time.

Never passed as many tanker trucks as i did in this run, but sadly non of them had diesl. Thankfully however at the 4500 mark i passed a tanker ship and topped up my spare fuel, now rocking about 200l in total, which should now easily be enough to get me home. Got enough water, food, diesel and in theory enough oil. So no need to stop now, here i come mum!

🛣️ 2700 – 4100 km (28th Feb 2026)

Wow i have been collecting screenshots for a lot longer than i thought. Well yeah nearly there mum!

🛣️ 2500 – 2700 km (26th Dec 2025)

A really uneventful journey, didnt take many images, but mostly flat.

🛣️ 2500 km Milestone

Finally hit the halfway point, such a monumental moment.

🛣️ 1700 – 2500 km Summary

Sadly i didnt really log much of this, i went up a lot, down a lot, saw sand, ice, grass and lots of crap
