?Firstly, can you tell us a bit about The Hole in the Wall?
My brother has owned it the past four years and now he?s moved on I?ve taken over. The original Hole in the Wall was the oldest pub however because it is no longer the original building it?s not classed as that anymore. The original building only held about 12 people. Obviously it could not be kept like that so they redeveloped and made it bigger.
So how did the ?Acousticx? nights come about?
We were looking for something to do on a Friday night and we thought about having entertainment. The size of the pub is not big enough to have a full band so we decided on solo acoustic artists; it?s also more fitting for the pub. We bumped into Zero and everything else is history.
How are you and your patrons enjoying the nights?
Yeah, it is going well. We?re getting quite a few people down. Once it gets more established it?ll be even better.
Who have you enjoyed most who has played here?
That bird who was here the other night (Bec Stacey) (laughs) that was very enjoyable. And one of the McDonald lads (Tim and Chris).
