Tolerance are about to embark on their first Uk Tour, with dates in Derby, Birmingham, Sheffield, Swansea, Plymouth, Cambridge and Manchester to name but a few. On May 28th there will be a big event at The Social, Rock City, Stealth and Rescue Rooms. This years Dot to Dot festival will involve over 50 bands and DJs including British Sea Power, Buck 65 and Simian Mobile Disco as well as local acts Amusement Parks on Fire, The Hellset Orchestra, Lords, From Shards of Comets, We Show Up On Radar, The Swarm, Computerman and The Smears. It all kicks off at 1pm and goes on into the early hours. It is a 14+ event so bring the whole family! For more details check out

Talking of festivals, saggy-pants' first of two this year will be held at The Maze on June the 10th. It's a FREE entry job featuring 12 Nottingham bands, 4 DJs, and we'll even pause the music and pull out the big screen while the footie's on, so you don't even have to move. June the 11th, it's the long awaited Drop in the Ocean 2006 festival. After the success of 2005's event which raised £57,000 for the Tsunami victims, this has to be one of the most talked about occasions on the Nottingham music calendar. Involving over 25 venues and countless local artists, this one promises to equal and undoubtedly surpass last years triumph.
