These guys rock! And not in a cheesy eighties way, although the influences of Bon Jovi and Aerosmith are obvious from the opening chords of Slow Road (which is anything but slow). Jay Lang’s vocals are note and pitch perfect throughout and the harmonies provided by the backing vocals of brothers Aaron and Rich Lang make me wonder whether this is what the Bee Gees would sound like playing stadium rock. The keyboards add depth to the sound and the timing is perfect, the opening of Rock Chick is reminiscent of Aerosmith’s Rag Doll and the vocals are great, i never would have guessed the band were from Leicester. Our Lost Youth is a nod towards Deep Purple with driving rhythm and atmospheric chords and My Favourite Drug is a perfect rock love song, you can picture the lighters in the air during the guitar solo. This is the sound of a well-established, well-rehearsed band. The songs sound great and if they play this well live I have just one question, how are these guys not selling out arenas?
