The story of Derby's Shotgun Johnny is a long, lonesome road of treacherous demons and falsely disguised hazards wrapped in a blanket of….. oh no, wrong story. Ah, Shotgun Johnny, there's a simple one.
It all started back in the summer of '04, when a few simple minded teenagers decided to start a band which they didn't realize would shortly evolve into a groundbreaking, genre shattering alternative band of the future. Their aims were simple: to write good music and to have a good time. These aims have been met and all original intentions were surpassed within a year of the band's life.

Although there have been a few member changes along the way, an unstoppable line-up has now been constructed, consisting of Luke Woodward (Vocals), Joe Doris (Electric Guitar), Scott Wye (Bass Guitar) and James Murgatroyd (Drums).
Not only does this group of friends write great music, but their live performances are one of a kind. They combine the finest punk rock with jokes and stupidity to create one of the most enjoyable live experiences around.
The group's latest recording, "Pumps, Trunks and Silky Shorts" is due for release in late 2005, and is sure to blow away its listeners. Keep an eye out on these guys, they're set for world domination.
