The HEMPire Has To Strike Back

When is this nightmare going to stop? I am, of course, talking about the Oil War taking place at the moment. We don't need to suck the toxic life juices from the earth anymore and we haven't had to since we figured out that there are equally good sources of renewable fuel. So why the constant irrelevant primitive bloodshed?

Using Hemp biodiesel makes sense. It?s biodegradable and harmless to all living organisms, it doesn't continue to contribute to global warming and it's not dangerous to handle and store as a renewable fuel instead of petrol. Fuel isn?t the only useful product that hemp can provide, for example, the hemp fabric is over 50 times more durable and efficient than cotton. Making paper products from hemp would stop the obliteration of our clean air because hemp grows back a lot faster than trees, with the added bonus that these plants cleanse the air actively, making it a great household plant.

All this is agricultural and mainstream science. You only have to type in 'hemp' on google and the amount of information there is vailable is astonishing, but it never seems to be enough. Still we continue to struggle by.

The whole point of evolution is that we learn from past experience in order to propel the ever-growing human intelligence as near towards paradise as we can. We should work in harmony with the sacred gifts from planet Earth, not spray them with chemicals (just because you can't put a patent on a living organism, here's looking at you DUPONT!!) rendering a harvest from them impossible.

Hemp seeds have been known to replenish the immune system and it cleanses the arteries, containing the most important protein (food source) known to man, it's also rich in essential fatty acids and fibers to help maintain the normal functions of your body to it's full extent. (www.hemp.co.uk)

I'd like to make one example of Ritalin before I go on, aside the fact we know that this chemical can shrink the brain and make the heart swell (documented fact, I advise people to do research before coming to any irrational conclusion about this drug). Dr. Claudia Jensen is lobbying in

America for people to see the importance of Cannabis on controlling the symptoms of ADD and ADHD. She states:

'When the children ingest those cannabinoids or cannabis compounds, for example, marijuana, it lasts a lot longer. They can get all the way through the day with a single cannabis cookie or piece of toast with cannabis peanut butter in the morning before school. They don't have to get stoned. It's dose-related. But they do get the benefit of being able to focus and pay attention, not be impulsive, not be angry, be peaceful and relaxed and pay attention in school, which helps them get better grades, which is the important issue.'

Hemp also helps chronic pain, neurological and movement disorders, post-polio disease, nausea and vomiting, Glaucoma, multiple Sclerosis, tourettes syndrome, Epilepsy, Alzheimer's disease and is an appetite stimulant for hunger suppressing illnesses such as AIDS.

Cannabis itself up until the 1930's was considered a miracle painkiller containing the analgesic 'delta-9 THC', all we needed for intense ailments was this plant. Queen Victoria demanded it to be grown because she knew the importance of it for trade, she used it on herself for her PMT problems and she is just one of the many members of the ruling class who have used this plant over the generations. Why are we so disgusted with it now? When are we going to get over this superstitious 'Reefer Madness' fad that tends to lead to irrational thinking about the otherwise useful medicinal qualities that Marijuana has to offer?

New Scientist magazine has cottoned on to the significance hemp has for our health and its extreme pain relief attributes. It's time for the NHS to wise-up to its professional possibilities and stop trying to use harmful chemicals, which may cut out the pain short-term but leave your body open for failure in the future.

So, can we once in our lives let common sense prevail? Just to prove that we can as a cosmic race in this universe, live on one planet without completely destroying it.
