Urban Nightmare mix up Hardcore Punk and Thrash to play thier own blend of music which could easily be generalised as Metal or Punk. Andi's lyical influences include the decline of society, conspiracy theories and depression; to mix with the speed and agression of Captain K's guitar, Scotts bass and Neils drums.

Scott and Neil had been in bands previously but met Tom K during thier late school years. Tom was a guitarist, a punk guitarist who knew a good tune or two, and also a good beer or two. So Scott and Tom whilst getting absolutely shickered set to work on some fast punk music. However the metal influences and heavy riffage were still to come later on. They officially formed during the Autumn of 2003, but went through a few singers and periods of being an instrumental 3-piece until they found the right one in Andi (October 2005). Mixing thier punk roots with more traditional thrash metal and early 80's hardcore music they began gigging winter 2005 to give something new to Nottinghams increasingly good music scene. With several demo's already been recorded but thrown away, a new one is likely to appear in the not so distant future and more venues expected to be ripped up. Its not taken over 2 years for nothing.
