The first track, Analogies and Metaphors part one: Analogies, throws you straight in the deep end with some awesome skate punk guitar riffs and fast and furious drumming. The vocals kick in pretty much instantaniously, they sound fantastic… Although sounding fairly similar to the Sum 41 type bands that are around, All or Nothing pull off the whole energetic, summery skate punk vibe with so much more talent and class. The second track, 0121 Whipped is another fine example of how good these guys actually are. The guitar riffs are powerful, the drums are fast and the vocals flow nicely and are stupidly catchy. There is a cool mid-8 type section near the end of the song with some sweet lead work on the guitar and all in all a very cool song. The rest of this 7 track e.p is pretty much the same kind of thing, but fortunately, with enough variation and catchy vocal lines to keep you interested for the entire CD. The penultimate track on this CD, Attention to Detail, Really does show us AONs attention to detail. It starts with an amazing bass line and an almost 80s metal style lead riff with the crazy drums to create a 2 minute metalpunk track, with a very short burst of more growly, intense vocals. My favourite track on the CD has got to be, On the run from John Law aint no trip to Cleveland, its got so much energy behind it and you can really feel it. There are some really cool riffs, and the vocals, again are just so stupidly catchy. I can quite easily see All or Nothing becoming a big summer hit, when everyone is in more of an energetic, party time mood, but I dont know if they will be able to do the whole all year round thing.
