Kristi : So the big news is you are now signed to trashpit records! If you could sum up your feelings in 3 words what would they be?
Crip : So fuckin' excited!
Kristi : So what does this mean for the band? What are the plans in the patchwork grace world now?
Crip : Well, we've just recorded our new single, which is gonna be released really soon. It's being pressed at the minute, so stay tuned for that!
Kristi : Getting signed is obviously the start of something big. What is your ambition as a band and what would need to happen to make your life as a band feel complete?
Crip : We're not out to be the biggest band in the world (although it would be nice!) We just want to be able to play, write and record as much as humanly possible, and make enough cash to not have to get 'real jobs'!
Kristi : Which local bands do you feel have what it takes at the minute?
Crip : There's quite a few good ones about at the minute ….Not So Pretty, Teenage Casket Company, 3 Storeys High, Ejectorseat
Kristi : Any advice to these local bands gigging at the minute who themselves may hope to get signed?
Crip : Don't give up, and don't let the haters get you down – they're only jelous!
Kristi : If you could record a song with anyone alive or dead who would it be?
Crip : We'd all answer differently for this. The guy who runs our fan site just asked us this, and the answers ranged from Motley Crue, Greenday, Robin Black and Kate Bush
Kristi : What makes a memorable gig for you?
Crip : Seeing the crowds singing along and really getting involved. Our gigs play largely on audience interaction, and seeing them having a good time is a great feeling
Kristi : Finally what do you want people to remember about this band?
Crip : They did it THEIR way
